Today the hubby and I did our last round of holiday grocery shopping, and I couldn’t resist buying this adorable little panettone!
Normally our holiday tradition is to buy one of the full-sized ones (like, the size of my head) and eat far more of it than we should. One year I used it to make the most outrageously decadent bread pudding with chocolate chips and rum sauce (Oh… my… God.), but this year we’re both committed to getting through the minefield of holiday eating without breaking our scale – hence this personal-sized panettone, just enough for each of us to have some toast on Christmas morning. Portion control, baby!
