According to commercial shopping calendars, the day after Halloween is the start of Christmas season.
With that, we’re already beginning to see an influx of holiday-themed entertainment.
The Lifetime Channel, forever the muscle force behind December warm fuzzies, is gearing up for the November 29 premiere of their feature Christmas film, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever.
Starring Tardar Sauce herself, and voiced by the permanently ennui-struck Aubrey Plaza, the new lifetime film follows a young girl named Chrystal who adopts “Grumpy” the cat from a pet store and realizes she can communicate telepathically with her, thanks to a Christmas wish for a “friend on whom she can depend.”
There are lots of holiday hijinks, including one involving an apparent kitty-operable paintball gun (?), and the “thwart[ed] kidnapping of an expensive exotic dog [Grumpy] can’t stand.”
